Comments(0) Plot: Paul is a hotel manager of a four star hotel in Rwanda’s capital, Kigali. He manages a large staff and also manages relations with the military and militia via kickbacks and favours. When the Hutu milita starts cleansing Rwanda of Tutsis, Paul becomes a hero by protecting his family, his staff, his guests and Tutsi refugees from the madness, with little support from the military and the UN.
This movie was extraordinarily moving, and made me feel guilty for not knowing more about the situation as it occurred. The people and organisations who knew and didn’t help should be ashamed.
